Classic Christianity is the second title I have read by Bob George. Now I understand why so many people have shown interest in this author.

George addresses a problem that is prevalent in Christian circles today: legalism. Far too many people have found salvation through faith in Christ alone, only to be enslaved by a long list of religious duties and spiritual obligations. George brings his readers back to the Scriptural basics here. He repeatedly makes the point that God saves us and KEEPS us saved through grace alone.

I recommend Classic Christianity highly to all Christians, especially those believers from conservative or fundamentalist backgrounds. George proclaims God’s Biblical truth about salvation and sanctification. In doing so, he sets his readers free.
